Город на юго-западе Архангельской области, около 20 тысяч жителей. Няндома возникла в самом конце XIX века при строительстве железной дороги на Архангельск, город с 1939 года. Основное предприятие - жд станция с депо.
Для туриста Няндома прежде всего ворота в расположенный поблизости Каргополь, но и сам город интересен деревянной архитектурой начала ХХ века.
